I started the machining of the SIG P228.  I have the 1st operation completed so far.  To see the details, click on the link to your left.

My name is Justin.  Some of you may know me by jwh02017.  I developed this website to show gun enthusiast the different types of firearms that can be manufactured using CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) equipment.  I am fortunate to have access to all kinds of CNC machines.  I am a mechanical engineer, and work for my father's machine shop.  Much of our work is for the aerospace industry, so quality is an up most importance.  I have carried this same quality of work to my gun hobby.  I have worked as a machinist for several years now, and I don't consider myself a gunsmith.

But I am learning more about the gunsmithing trade with every project.  I started this gun hobby a little over a year ago, after I was looking for some mods for my AR-15.

During my searching, I stumbled across the Roderus Custom Gunworks website.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the very impressive work that Pvt.Ryan had done.  I then became a member of his forum where I had a wealth of information at my finger tips.  I hadn't seen anybody use CNC machines to make their own firearms, so I thought it would be cool to show people what can be done with CNC equipment.  This hobby has become very addictive and I've done several projects since the first AR-15 lower receiver that I machined.  I don't sell any receivers, but I will offer 80% AR-15 lower receivers after I get approved by the ATF.  All information contained in this website is for educational purposes only.

Periodically I'll be adding new project progress.
