just in case someone here hasn't heard the news yet on other gunsmithing sites.... there are G3 flats available from several vendors (Ohio Rapid Fire has sold out, but Copes still has 'em) for $70! there are numerous threads w/ discussions of bending methods and such on weaponeer, gunco, etc.

On Weaponeer.net I have a tutorial under cetme flats thread on bending without special tools or jigs.  Smiley

Yeah I know this is an old thread but has ANYONE found any templates/blueprints for these G3 flats?  Or could any of you make one from a flat you purchased?  I'm interested in making a few receivers but $70+ is a lot to lose for one screw up making one.  Thanks a lot guys.
