3n1 drill/mill/lathe

First off hello, I am new here to this forum, not so new to firearms. Any way to the point, I have limited space in my home ran shop, and have been considering one of these, Smithy has a couple I have been consideringl. Has any one used these? What do you think of them? The machine will be used for quite a bit 80s, custom barreling etc. Your opinion in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

yes, ferretface and others have done great things w/ the 3-in-1's...
that being said, like most multipurpose devices they do none of their duties as well as a dedicated machine.
work envelope can be an issue, but thats the case w/ all small/mimi mills and lathes.
as long as you can accept the limitations, and work around them, you'll be fine.
hopefully somebody who has one will chime in, i'm just speaking from minimal experience using other's machines.

I am so glad to see someone could turn out some fairly good work with one. Thats really all I need it to do, I wish the space for larger dedicated machines was an option. However right now its not a couple more years, and perhaps I can move one up. Thats the plan any way.
