I'm not going to ask for blueprints, but can anyone point me at some general arrangement drawings ?

I've searched the web and got nothing of much use.

There aren't any Stoner 63 related files on firearmfiles, as best as I can tell...

Or am I missing something?

I should have said that Mongo's site was one of the first I hit upon.

I think I'll try some lateral thinking and look for pictures or drawings of the M96 as well.

Basically I need to build a solid model of the Stoner 63 in Solidworks, so I can design a .22lr version.

A rimfire Stoner replica may sound really stupid but firearms laws here don't allow semi-auto centrefires, so rimfire is the only game in town if you want a self loader.
In theory I've also got the option of building it as a manually operated .223 ( no gas system, you cock it for every shot ) but the lack of primary extraction makes that style of gun very awkward to use unless you bolt on a huge charging handle, and that would ruin the look.

If they did, it would have an M16 buttstock, M60 forearm, grease gun flash suppressor, and a SAW pistol grip. You know how the Air Force likes to upgrade old shit rahter than buy a whole new gun. Wink
