8 in drill press

I have a 8 in drill press would it work for making an 80 if i take my time?

Take your time, be very carefull and you should be OK.  I did 3 on a drill press and I think it took about 10 hours each. 

Try to get several buddies together.  Split the jigs, tools, etc.  If you get enough of them, you could add a mini mill in the mix.  You can do it on a mini mill in about 2 hours.

There are a ton of tutorials out there of people doing them on a drill press, including a good one on here.
