Been some discussion on AR15.com that these lowers are hit or miss. For every guy that says they're great, there is a guy that says the finish sucked and the dimensions were off.

Buyer be ware.

In my opinion that just means some folks are pickier than others, or more expierienced.

I say you get what you pay for, and $55 is cheap, so..................................

If you call expecting all dimensions to be within tolerance "being picky", by all means, knock yourself out.

Close only counts in horseshoes and AR-15 lowers or something like that!

Tango you mean you don't use the eyeball indicator on most of your setups. Grin

No, he does this stuff for a living, most of the rest of us are amateurs,

and therefore can only afford cheap stuff, or make it ourselves.

I currently don't do this for a living and dremel is your friend. I did make a dedicated .45 lower using JBWeld as a magwell block once.

No but it was after mass consumption of barley and hops.

Calipers are for amateurs.

Worked great. Here is me test firing it. Notice the rapid detachable butt stock. Patent pending of course.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U7Q8cqC_q8

DSA has blems for sale for $60.  No ugly rollmarks like the rguns / Sharps units, no canted mag release holes.  The cosmetic blemishes that I've seen appear to be minor.  I ordered 4 last week.  I'd rather have a blem'd DSA unit than an ugly / out of spec rguns / Sharps unit.

You don't have to do it while staying there.... It works as long as you stayed there the night before  Grin
