Currently, here's what my AR .45 looks like with a Vortex Strikefire red dot scope with the steel shroud on the bbl replaced with an aluminum shroud. I like the vortex a lot better than the Tasco. I also have removed another divider from my forearm which allows the FCH to move enough to engage the ejector.

Another fine example of Rudy's work.
His shop is only a few hours away, so I dropped in when I was in the area back on Good Friday. He assembled the lower in what seemed like 10 minutes, then adjusted mags and test fired. I pestered him for a few weeks about a bayonet mount---I went back, and he changed out the handguard for a shorter one and installed a YHM front sight/sling/bayonet mount.
It is fun to shoot, and the Mrs. can easily handle the (slight) recoil.

Thanks for the kind words....been meaning to get in touch on the wifes  9mm you requested....ramping up production I haven't been able to get you squared away.....give me a shout at the shop if you can.....I'll just let you get her my personal that she liked so much...... ;) will try and get cerokote ordered in the AM
