3/16/08:  In preparation of the move, I have changed my mailing address.  Please visit this link for the updated address.

As of 3/06/08, I've sold my house and I've been very busy trying to get everything packed up for the big moving day.  On top of that, I've been trying to finish up my shop/apartment so I have a place to live.  The pic to the left shows where I'm currently at.  I still need to paint the walls, acid stain the floor and hang the drop ceiling.  Then once I get all the plumbing fixtures installed, I should be pretty much finished, besides a few odds and ends.  Please understand if I can't respond to emails as quickly as before.  I hope here in a couple months things will finally get back to normal and I'll be able to start building guns again.

Due to popular demand, I decided to make a small batch of 10% AR10 lowers.  These won't last long, so if you are interested, please contact me ASAP.  You can get more details on the CNCGUNS forum in this link.

I have a few of the 10% AR45 lower receivers still in stock.  For details, go to the bottom of the AR45 lower receivers page.  I also have a few A1 carry handles left.  If you would like to buy one go to this link A1 Handles.

I've completed a tutorial on how to finish an 80% AR15 lower receiver using the CNC Jig.  You can view the tutorial at this link.

I've uploaded a video of the AR45 in action on google video.  Click this link or the pic below.

Welcome to CNC Gunsmithing.  My name is Justin.  Some of you may know me by jwh02017.  I developed this website to show gun enthusiast the different types of firearms that can be manufactured using CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) equipment.  I am fortunate to have access to all kinds of CNC machines.  I am a mechanical engineer, and work for my father's machine shop.  Much of our work is for the aerospace industry, so quality is an up most importance.  I have carried this same quality of work to my gun hobby.  I have worked as a machinist for several years now, and I don't consider myself a gunsmith.

But I am learning more about the gunsmithing trade with every project.  I started this gun hobby in the summer of 2002, after I was looking for some mods for my AR-15 that I bought earlier that summer.  That was the first AR-15 that I had ever shot or owned.  I've always been into guns, but it really got kick started into a hobby after this first AR-15 that I bought.

During my searching, I stumbled across the Roderus Custom Gunworks website.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the very impressive work that Pvt.Ryan had done.  I then became a member of his forum where I had a wealth of information at my finger tips.  I hadn't seen anybody use CNC machines to make their own firearms, so I thought it would be cool to show people what can be done with CNC equipment.  This hobby has become very addictive and I've done several projects since the first AR-15 lower receiver that I machined.  I hope my website will help you get started in this hobby, if it's not your hobby already.  I share all my information for free, and I hope you will do the same to help keep the gun community strong.  I don't sell any receivers, but I will offer 80% AR-15 lower receivers after I get approved by the ATF.  All information contained in this website is for educational purposes only.

Periodically I'll be adding new project progress.
